This week was a very exciting week in our classroom. Along with completing our regular math and literacy activities, we also had a Holiday Craft Day and Sing Song. Thank you to all of the parents that planned a craft to complete with the children. The students loved completing these fun activities and learning about different cultural celebrations too! Thank you to Ms. Laporte, Mr. Clemens, and Mrs. Ryan, who also planned and completed a craft with the students. They really enjoyed working with you too! It was great to see so many parents come out and join us for our sing song as well. Thanks for being such great sports and participating in our various songs, including the very popular, Reindeer Pokey. Thanks to Mr. Borean too for also joining us on Thursday for our sing song: the more voices, the better. Unfortunately, due to the wintery weather, today is a Snow Day, and so we won't be able to have our small holiday celebration with the B Class. Hopefully the children will enjoy the extra day of playing in the snow though. As a fun literacy activity, have your children make a snowman or snow fort, take a photograph of it, and then get your children to write a story about their creation. You can even e-mail us the photographs and stories to add to the Kindergarten Website. This is our attempt at a virtual celebration.
